The Cork Scrabble tournament was held on Sat 9th and Sun 10th of April 2022 in the usual venue (under the new name of The Address).
In 1st place was Feargal Weatherhead with 13 wins and a spread of 1,735; 2nd place was Bríd Ní Bhriain with 10 wins and a spread of 696; and 3rd place was Liam Donnelly with 10 wins and a spread of 586.
The B group prize went to Mary Doyle with 10 wins and a spread of 125, and the C group prize went to Bronagh Kenny with 9 wins and a spread of 226. The high word score went to Ed Miliano, who scored 122 points for RUNTIEST.
