“The Diaspora Scrabble Tournament Ireland turned out to be a resounding success and I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the participants for supporting the event. It was great to see so many local and international players turn up for the event. The support from the All-Irish Scrabble Association (AISA) during the entire event was commendable and appreciated. Many thanks to our amiable and efficient TD Kate for running the event smoothly.
Congratulations to Ademola Ajayi and Siobhan Buckley for winning their respective divisions. Coincidentally, both players had not played competitive Scrabble in at least 10 years prior to last weekend.
We will be looking to release Version II of the tournament next year with a bigger prize pool and many other enhancements to attract more local and international players. Watch out for the Version II details in the next couple of months.
Any feedback (positive or negative) from the participants would be greatly appreciated. This will help us to identify the areas for improvement to deliver a better experience in the next edition.

See you next year.
